Welcome to My Tragic Comedy! My name is Helen Butcher, and I am a nomadic undergrad only one paycheck away from replacing butter tub lids and an upside-down Frisbee with proper dinnerware.

Hopefully, this blog will allow you to learn from my mistakes and laugh at with me as I traverse my twenties and hone my fledgling writing skills.

I harbor a deep-seated love for the performing arts that stems from my early battle with Middle Child Syndrome. This love has influenced my decision to pursue a major in Media Arts and a minor in Humanities at Brigham Young University. In other words, I'm working on my B.A. in Pretentious B.S.
